You control one of three characters in this Conan the Barbarian-style medieval world. A battle-axe wielding dwarf, Gilius Thunderhead whose twin brother has been killed by the soldiers of the Death Adder. Then Ax Battler, who wields a two handed broadsword looking for revenge over the murder of his mum and Tyris Flare and Amazonian whose parents were both killed by Death Adder**.
Golden Axe is a journey across land and sea to get to Death Adders castles and knock seven bells out of him, given his assassination of the heroes family members.
Enemies come thick and fast and there are no end of them to be faced in what is a pretty frenetic brawl em up / melee combat world, can you get to the Death Adders castle?
