Once you have mastered the art of bouncing two balls at once, grunting to seismic levels and mopping your brow with a sweatband you will be ready to head off and challenge the rest of humanity to become the World's No. 1, even if you are British.
You get to play as or against over 20 of the world’s top players in what is probably the most realistic tennis game out there. Sega have managed to keep on improving the Virtua Tennis games since the launch on the ill fated Dreamcast back in the 90's and this update of the franchise ladles in a lot of fun.
Part of the appeal of Virtua Tennis is that it has never really relied on the player being a huge fan of tennis in the real world, unlike say Football. So even if you would run a mile from watching tennis in TV, you will more than likely find swatting balls back across the court and building your career as one of the world’s top athletes strangely compelling and a lot of fun...
