Zombie Driver
Zombies infest the city - You need a car loaded with guns and flamethrowers! Quick!
You will face hundreds of zombies at a time and killing them is never anything less than satisfying. Bits of Zombies fly everywhere are you mow them down with your car or shoot them / burn them / shoot them some more whilst driving through the infested city to rescue survivors before they too are turned into Zombies.
Running into Zombies will slow your car down and there is a limit to how much damage you can take before you die. The city is littered with health and weapons upgrades as well as cash which you can use to upgrade each of the vehicles or move on to a new one.
Zombies are the only thing that can destroy your vehicle so running through fences, knocking over lamposts, hitting phone booths are all part of the fun.
Rescuing survivors also leads you to more upgrades and there are several side missions to discover. You can go pretty much any way you like - but each way will bring you to flocks of Zombies that need dealing with and they will always be found anywhere there are hapless humans needing rescued.
Zombie Driver gives you exactly what you would expect in nice bite sized chunks. Exor, the developer have managed to produce a pretty cool game and if you have any memories of thrashing around in Carmageddon and have missed it... then this is worth a go, that and killing zombies again!
