In the 1970’s you could find this small shunter at nearly every railway station in Germany. The maximum speed is 45 km/h and with its small Diesel engine it can move only 3 to 4 waggons. Their operation was limited to the rail yards of the stations.
At the end of the 1960’s DB (German Railways), as the most important transport organization in Germany started a new transport service: Von Haus zu Haus (from home to home). It was the transport of containers from station to station and then with special Lorries directly from the station to the customers. There was a special container type for many goods which could be transported by the Lbms wagons. All the included Lmbs wagons use dynamic numbering and a special plate at the end of the train.
The BR323 Shunter painted in the classic DB red livery along with the specialist Lbms wagons and the two scenarios means driving fun awaits you.
